On October 24th, 2023, the online presentation of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Skill me 4 Job!” was held. The project is being implemented by the Ambitio College as the coordinator together with the partner Stichting Exe-leren from the Netherlands and the associate partner Essential Skills Program from the USA. The project is financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. The presentation was attended by representatives of institutions for adult education, representatives of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, and Ambitio College employees.

The overall goal of the project is to implement innovative online training in the field of soft skills development through the Essential Skills Program platform. In this way, an innovative opportunity to learn about soft skills will be provided, which will contribute to the awareness of the public and target groups about the importance of education in the field of soft skills.

In the introductory part, Director Alen Stranjik greeted the participants and thanked them for their participation and interest in the project. Alen emphasized that he is pleased by the fact that all target groups of the project have a much greater interest in soft skills training than in other educational programs, from which it can be concluded that soft skills can improve the quality of work activities, career progress or empower people for new employment. Project coordinator Željka Ciler presented the project and project activities and emphasized the implementation of soft skills training that will start soon. In this context, soft skills trainer Ana Boban Lipić shared her experience of creating digital workbooks.

As one of the target groups of the implementation of soft skills training are teachers in adult education, the coordinator invited the teachers to participate in the training in order to strengthen themselves for the teaching process in working with adult learners and contribute to their personal and professional development.
