Ambitio College participates in the Erasmus+ project Strategic Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training

From September 1st, 2023, Ambitio College as a partner to coordinator Eurasante from France participates in the implementation of the ERASMUS+ KA2 project Strategic Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training Careers for Carers (CforC). Other partner organizations in the project are Challedu and  Xenios Polis. Culture, Science and Action from Greece, Fonix As from Norway and Artesis Plantijn Hogeschool Antwerpen from Belgium,

Main goal is to respond to the difficulties of recruitment in the field of personal services by attracting young people to the healthy ageing sector, training them, and providing employment tips.  

The main goal will be achieved by developing and providing provide a tool (escape game) to raise awareness to the profession of elderly care and healthy ageing; developing and offering training to young people to prepare them to a career in healthy ageing; and developing a best practice booklet as a resource for career design and VET providers.

The target groups of the project are:

  1. young people interested in discovering professions of healthy aging
  2. caregivers of medico-social establishments and home care services, professionals of health and healthy aging
  3. VET providers
  4. older people in need of personal services and
  5. public authorities.

This partnership will enable Ambitio College to be part of new international cooperation and thus promote the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of vocational education and training, specifically in the field of employment of young people for the labour market and provision of social services. The project was financed from the Erasmus+ program of the European Union in the total amount of 250.000,00 EUR and will be implemented for 25 months (September 1st, 2023 – August 31, 2025).
