Our lecturers Dijana Didak, bacc. med. techn., Ivanka Firić, master degree in nursing and Jadranka Petrinec, bacc. med. techn. held a workshop “Protocols of Anti-septiological Work Provision in Ordination of Dental Medicine” on 17th May 2018 at the International Dental Medicine Fair “Dentex” 2018  within the ” Work in the clinic – LIVE”.

The workshop was intended for dental assistants who followed the presentation of some of the most important procedures with great interest that should be respected when working in the dental team and dental office. The basic principles of cross infection and its prevention in the dental medicine conditions have been presented, a proper technique of hygienic, surgical hand wash, sterile gloves and sterile protective clothing have been demonstrated, a procedure of the skin and mucous membrane disinfection of patient for oral surgery and dental unit surface preparation for the operation of the oral cavity has been demonstrated. Furthermore, the participants were educated about proper waste management of the dental office.

This workshop was also a continuation of professional workshops “Dental Assistant” which Ambitio College has been successfully helding since the beginning of the year. The next Workshop at Ambitio College is scheduled for 15th Sep 2018.
